The Tour 9 falls nicely in the middle of the Volkl Tour line of racquets. Officially categorized as a "player"s" racquet, it possesses more control and a little more heft than the Tour 8, yet is a little more powerful and mobile than the Tour 10 Mid. The Tour 9 plays and feels lighter than most other control oriented racquets but maintains a stable, solid feel from both the baseline and at net. The Tour 9"s low swingweight makes it best suited to fast swinging players, who place a premium on maneuverability and control. It is also a good "platform" racquet for customization. The Sensor Handle System dampens vibration without sacrificing feel.
